Let Me Be Prolific is the story – these are the receipts. April, May, and June 2026, platform by platform (with no rounding up to make myself feel better).

(Quick disclaimer: this is what happened to me. It's not advice or a promise.)

The Numbers

April

Clickworker: $144.68
Prolific: $506.30
Connect: $150.00

April Total: $800.98

May

Clickworker: $110.90
Prolific: $405.96
Connect: $300.00

May Total: $816.86

June

Clickworker: $265.48
Prolific: $219.38
Connect: $280.00

June Total: $764.86

Three Month Total: $2,382.70

The Quarter in Plain English

$2,382.70 in three months or about $794 a month. What jumped out at me is that my best month (May) and my worst (June) were only $52 apart – that's pretty amazing. The total barely moved but what was underneath changed every month.

Prolific: Number One (Mostly)

Prolific brought in $1,131.64 or about 47% of the quarter so it wins the crown. But look at the trend: $506 in April, $406 in May, $219 in June. April was the kid-in-a-candy-store month and by June I'd gotten pickier. (For the record, February was actually my best Prolific month at $547.10; April was the rebound.)

And in June, Prolific wasn't even my top earner – Connect and Clickworker both beat it. The "medal" depends on the month.

Jean Luc saying "Steady on that"

Connect: The Steady One

Connect finished with $730.00: $150 in April, $300 in May, $280 in June. It doubled from April to May and then held. That's the reliable number two I keep talking about and in June it was number one.

Clickworker: Still Pulling Its Weight

On Clickworker I made $521.06 and June's $265.48 was more than double May's $110.90 (due to the availability of AI voice work).

Versus Last Time

In my last results (for February and March) it came to $1,360.00 or $680 a month. April through June averaged about $794, roughly 17% higher. I got more selective, and the monthly average still went up. I'll take it.

Reflections

Between April and June, Prolific dropped by $287, but my total only dropped by $36. That's the whole argument for not putting everything on one platform. When one cools off, the others can cover. Consistency backed by honesty, same as always, and let the math keep mathing.

Where the Money Actually Went

Way to go me on $2300 in three months!! Now what do I do with it??

Joey and Chandler

As I started to comprehend the totality of the extra money I was making, I started to think that it was time to be serious about how I invested it. Shocker – I turned to Claude and Gemini.

Instead of chasing hot stock tips or trying to pick winners, I started to put the money into "index" funds (like the Dow, Nasdaq, etc.) and dividend-paying funds to keep things safe and keep them growing (note: I love dividends). I had really one basic requirement: no lazy money – buy things that pay you for owning them.

So, I made sure to set up automatic reinvestment in all my accounts (401k, IRA, etc.). At the same time, I was learning to spread the money across various entities that did well when other investments didn't.

Fingers crossed it works...
